As the public health community focuses on COVID-19, the Institute of Public Health Conference scheduled to take place in the RCPI on Wednesday 13 May 2020 has been postponed.

The Institute of Public Health in Ireland (IPH) and the Bamford Centre for Mental Health & Wellbeing at Ulster University co-hosted an international seminar on loneliness in December 2018.
The one day workshop brought together international academics, researchers, organisations and charities to share and discuss ‘Loneliness in later life’ with a focus on interventions and ‘what works’ in addressing loneliness.
